Prayer Requests: August 16

Buenos dias a todos! Please join us this week in praying for the following:

*Lots of new beginnings and transitions will be happening this week for several of our older boys.  Oscar Amaya will be moving to Wheaton to start college, David Almendarez will be moving from Costa Rica to Tegucigalpa to work and take his last class, Jeferson will begin carpentry school at a local university, and Marvin Morazon will start his second year teaching Bible at International School.  Please pray for smooth transitions for all of these boys.  May God guide their every step and may they not feel overwhelmed by their new surroundings and tasks.

*Several of the boys in the house are sick, as well as several staff members (Becca and Izzy), and one of the dogs (Zorro).  Pray for rest and healing for all of them and that they may recovery quickly from their sicknesses.  Once someone is sick in the house it tends to get passed around to everyone, so we also pray that that doesn't happen and the rest of the house stays healthy.

* Continue to keep Micah 2.0 in your prayers.  We are still in the process of getting all of the legal documentation together.  Hopefully, God willing, the land will be ours soon!

*Thank you for your prayers regarding Hector Licona because he just got a job at the International School. Thanks to a connection with Eduardo Barahona, Hector started working last Friday in the bookstore/snack shop at International School.  Pray that this job goes well for him and that he really enjoys his work.

*We continue to praise God for the precious lives He has given us to work with and be a family with.  Just thinking about where some of our boys have come from and where they are now, it's a miracle! We are so thankful for all that He has done in their lives and for all that He will do in the future.  We know that He has great plans for all of them.

Thanks from the Micah Project for your love and support!  We couldn't do it without all of you behind us, supporting us and praying for us.  Blessings to all of you!
Peace.
