Prayer Requests: March 28

Greeting from warm Tegucigalpa! I apologize for a late update, things have been a little busy lately at the Micah Project.

*Last week and this week we were blessed to have the youth group from Central Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, MO with us.  We had a great time with last weeks group and are enjoying our time with this weeks group as well.  They are the first group to start building on Micah 2.0! (They helped to raise the majority of the money for the wall!)  They are making great progress on the brick wall that backs up to VLM.  The group also is spending time with the children of VLM as well as getting to know some of the street youth that we work with.  The boys have loved having the group here and are doing a great job of practicing their English.  They are a great encouragement to us and we are blessed to have them here.  Our prayer is that the youth will be moved by what the Holy Spirit is doing here and that they will be able to take what they have learned here and apply it to their lives in St. Louis.

*Along with the wall being built on Micah 2.0, the well is also being dug! Exciting steps- Praise the Lord!

*Continue to keep the Mama Jo's bakery in your prayers.  They continue to produce delicious treats that are loved by  schools, businesses, and Micah staff. Natasha and Karen are currently working with a large client that would bring in lots of orders and revenue.  Soon they will be meeting with the owner of the largest chain of coffee shops in Honduras!  Pray that these meetings will go well and that soon the bakery will have some big clients.  We are so proud of the moms, Natasha, Karen, and all others involved in this business.

*We ask for prayers of rest, strength, and motivation for the Micah staff.  These weeks have been great but also long and draining on us staff.  As we approach Holy Week/Spring Break, several staff members will be traveling which means more responsibilities for those staff that will be here.  May God provide us with His strength needed to continue to minister to the people of Micah and Tegucigalpa.

We thank you so much for all of your prayers, support, and encouragement!  God's blessings to you and your families!
Grace and Peace.
