Prayer Requests: September 19

Good morning from Tegucigalpa!  Things are busy are here, as we spent the last few days on the north coast of Honduras and have been enjoying having Becca around for a few days!  Take a few moments and join us in lifting up the following petitions to our Heavenly Father who is Lord of all:

-We had a fantastic trip to the north coast this weekend.  It was a great opportunity to get the boys out of the city for a few days and to experience the beautiful creation God has blessed us with- the sandy beaches, ocean, huge mountains, and beautiful skies and sunsets.  We praise the Lord for keeping us safe in all of our travels and activities.

-During our time in La Ceiba we able to visit our friend Kate and Hector Licona who recently opened a drop-in center for street kids.  Our boys were able to share their testimonies and even some songs with the street kids there.  It was a great time fellowship, pizza, and of course soccer! We are so thankful for the ways that the Lord is working in our boys' lives and that they can be a testimony to others that we can't do it without Christ at the center of our lives.

-Continue to keep Axel Lopez and Davidcito in your prayers as they are both living at home now.  Pray that the Lord may continue to work in the hearts and lives and transform them.  May the Lord protect them and keep them from any harm or danger.  Pray for wisdom and guidance to make wise decisions.

-We are in the process of evaluating and modifying our street outreach ministry that takes place on Friday afternoons.  The number of attendees has risen over the past few months and we are figuring out how best to reach the people in attendance, whether baby, child, teenager, or adult.  We ask for prayer for discernment and wisdom as we work to serve the least of these.

We thank you for your continuous love, support, and prayers that you send our way.  We are so grateful that you are part of the Micah family.
Grace and Peace.
