Prayer Requests: October 16

Greetings from Tegucigalpa! Join us this week in praying for the following:

-We praise our Heavenly Father because even though we live in a city full of danger, violence, and evil He has keep us safe from harm and danger.  As His word promises in Psalm 18:2 "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."  We put our trust in Him that He will continue to protect us as we go about our lives here.

-Things continue to progress rapidly on Micah 2.0.  Work has begun on the foundation and we are hoping to start laying bricks next week! The boys are currently working out on the land two days a week,  some helping to dig and others cutting grass.  We are so thankful for how things are moving forward!

-Our school year is winding down to a close.  We have three more weeks of classes and then exams.  The boys are anxious for school to be done.  This week the five sixth grade students will be taking their hymn test that is required to graduate.  Pray that they may remember all the words (of the 7 stanzas and explanations!) and do well on the exam.  May all the boys be focused and motivated to finish the school year well.

-Michael will be traveling to Houston later this week to participate in several important dinners during which he will be presenting the Micah Project.  Pray for safe travels for him and all others that will be traveling.  Also that his presentations will go well and that many people will be impacted by the Micah story.  May it be a blessed time of sharing.

We thank you so much for your love and prayers! We couldn't do it without your support!
Grace and Peace.
